The Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography reopens on Wednesday, May 27th 2020, at 10 a.m. The visiting programme is between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., the last entry at 5 p.m., from Wednesday to Sunday.

As a result of the state of emergency on the Romanian territory, the both sections of the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography will be closed for the public until the end of the state of emergency.
In this period of time, the activity of public relations for individuals and legal entities will be done mainly by electronic means, telephone or by postal correspondence.

As a result of the Decision no 7 in 11.03.2020 of the National Committe for Special Emergency Situations and the Disposition 133/12.03.2020, both sections of the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography will be closed for the public between the 12th and the 31st of March 2020.

Due to the renovation works of the main building of the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography on Memorandum Street no. 21, the main exhibition of the indoor section will be closed beginning with October, 11, 2017.
