The ewe-cheese mold – our proposal for the artefact of May – was used at the end of the 19th – the beginning of the 20th century in the Romanian pastoral environment from Bran and Vrancea ethnographic areas. The access to the information is facilitated for various categories of persons with disabilities by a permanent tactile exhibition designed especially to the persons with visual impairments and by special platforms that make possible the access for the persons with locomotive disabilities.

The Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography has 3 museum shops where the traditional arts and souvenirs lovers could buy items made by the contemporary folk craftsmen and artists in Romania. The museum shops offer to the visitors various traditional items (folk costumes, popttery recipients, cups, plates, textile fabrics tablecloths and towels, traditional hat, icons on wood and on glass etc.) rigorously selected by the scientific museum staff.
